Heaven and Earth Meet in the Waters of Baptism

Jesus' baptism was the central, but not only time, that heaven and earth met with extraordinary result.  This meeting of heaven and earth is what Jesus taught us to pray for, and heaven and earth will ultimately meet again finally and forever when all things are made new.  Because of the unique experience of Jesus, our own baptisms become the meeting place of heaven and earth, too.
